Mission

Fight Club Catholic is a movement and community to recover man’s sight so he is more free to fight for God, his (future) bride, and his brothers in the battle for purity of heart.

Vision

The Fight Club Member understands that his fight is not just about breaking free from sexually explicit or distracting material online, however.  The Fight Club vision is based on Jesus’ words:

“Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God.”

Matthew 5:8

This means purity is only the means for the total vision and mission of the end goal of seeing Jesus Christ clearer and His call for each man.  Done right, one’s daily freedom affirms that he is on the path to seeing Our Lord and helps him realize that his heart is already good because it is made by Our Father.

The Three Fights

Fight Club Members’ greater “Yes” to the “No” of sexual or distracting temptation is harnessed in the these three fights:

Fight for God

We fight for Jesus, that He be our first love.

“You shall love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.”

Mark 12:30

Fight for “her”

We fight for our (future) Bride which could be a spouse or the Church.

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church and handed Himself over for her.”

Ephesians 6:25

Fight for your brothers

We fight for our brothers for we are stronger together.

“There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

John 15:13

The PRAY Strategy

To manifest the end vision of Fight Club, members exercise the following four-pronged attack for the battle: PRAY.

Prayer

We believe in spiritual warfare, setting apart time for daily prayer.

The Rosary

This weapon equips us with the Blessed Virgin Mary who fights for us, protects us and leads us to her son.

Accountability

Accountability forces us to stop isolating ourselves and to rely on others in our battle.

Yes Battle Plan

The “Yes” Battle Plan is a pragmatic tool for a man to recognize and counteract temptation.

Fight temptation. Seek freedom.
